With Saturday's forecast calling for rain, Charlotte Motor Speedway's first Cars and Coffee Concord event will have to percolate one more week. Cars and Coffee's rollout will kick off on Saturday, Feb. 23, with the FREE cruise-in event taking place from 7-10 a.m. in the speedway's Fan Zone - giving gearheads and coffee connoisseurs a chance to talk shop in a relaxed setting. Following its rollout next week, Cars and Coffee Concord will take place on the third Saturday of each month, save for May and October. The new event will see the Fan Zone transformed as car owners and enthusiasts gather to celebrate their shared passion for cars and showcase their prized classics, customs and hot rods amid the backdrop of America's Home for Racing. There is no charge for car owners or spectators to participate. Additionally, Speedway Children's Charities will host a Laps for Charity event on July 20, giving fans the unique opportunity to drive their personal cars around Charlotte Motor Speedway's revolutionary ROVAL™ with a $25 donation to Speedway Children's Charities.
